During the Trans-Atlantic slave trade, tribal marks helped repatriated slaves to trace their ancestry, having had their identities stripped from them. This interpretation celebrates both beauty and belonging, history and culture associated with this practice

Customs
Some of our artists are based outside of the UK and their work will ship from their country of residence. In some cases, customs fees will become applicable. The shipping and packaging charges do not include these fees. Please get in touch for further information if you are unsure about import duties and clearance costs for goods imported into another country.

Delivery
Packages are usually despatched within 2 days after receipt of payment. Larger orders, and orders for limited editions and original artworks, are shipped using DHL. Smaller orders are usually shipped using first class mail in the UK and standard mail for overseas orders. Shipments via DHL are trackable and require a signature upon delivery. If we send your parcel out by DHL then you will receive an email with tracking details.
The cost of shipping includes all handling, packing and postage costs. No UK tax is applied to any orders shipped overseas. However, the purchaser of the items will be responsible for any importation taxes, duty or charges levied at the point of importation.

Returns
If a package has not arrived or products have arrived damaged in transit then please contact us. We shall seek to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
Returning an item couldn’t be easier. If you’re not completely happy with your artwork, you have 14 days from the date you received the piece to request a return for a refund or replacement (if the artist can offer a replacement). We will organise a courier collection from your home, workplace or an alternative address, whatever suits you! And, it’s completely free.

For a simple, fast service, you’ll need to make sure that:
You request you email info@casildart.com  within 14 days of your artwork being delivered to you. The artwork must be in its original packaging and the same condition as it arrived. UK Shipping

Weight: 0-2kgs = £27

Size of work: 50cm - 80cm
Weight: 2-3kgs = £55

Size of work: 80cm - 100cm
Weight: up to 3kgs = £120

Q: What if my artwork arrives and I don’t like it?
A: We understand that sometimes, for one reason or another, your artwork might not quite work as you’d hoped. With our free 14 day returns, sending an artwork back is simple and hassle free. Send an email to info@casildart.com within 14 days of your delivery date and we can arrange a return or replacement.

Q: How can I be sure I’m investing in quality artwork?
A: Our curators work to provide you with access to unique and high quality original artworks from artists on the rise.

Q: Are there any extra costs?
A: If you’re buying an artwork that is coming from a different country to your delivery country, there may be an additional customs fee to pay which won’t be included in your shipping costs. If you are unsure about customs duties, please contact us.
