IMPROVING PUBLIC SPACES AND THE CAREER PROSPECTS OF BLACK PEOPLE AND OTHER SOCIALLY EXCLUDED COMMUNITIES
We activate libraries and other public spaces as cultural sites where art can be enjoyed by everyone without fear or judgment. If you would like to expand the library experience for your staff, visitors and users, please get in touch to discuss how our visual arts programme can transform libraries into open and relaxed community spaces.
We programme exciting talks designed to open up spaces for critical conversations about contemporary Black art and culture. We can deliver these in schools, colleges and corporate, arts, and community spaces.
We provide volunteer roles across art curation, event management, communications and marketing, fundraising, finance, project management, and events. We will provide access to the best training and supervision with our specialist consultants. By giving your time, you will increase your skills, make friends and valuable professional contacts and contribute to changing the lives of marginalised people.
If you are interested in Volunteering or Work Placements, please contact us.
Our artists deliver art workshops in the community to help socially excluded communities to discover their creative side. This also helps our artists to engage with diverse communities.
We arrange work placements with leading galleries and cultural organisations for people aged 18-30. Our team provides mentoring, coaching, and support to sustain work placements and get the best out of them.
Our community services programmes are increasing the core skills, confidence, and self-esteem of marginalised people, and improving community cohesion.
We are currently working with the monitoring and evaluation team at Sharp Raiser Limited to enhance our monitoring and evaluation systems and prepare our 2022 Evaluation Report, which will document qualitative, quantitative, and visual data evidencing our outcomes, impact, and other achievements.
